Brad & I are currently visiting his parents. Brad's father had a mild stroke Monday night. God has been and continues to be very good to us, sparing us from any worse scenerio. Our Dad is recovering from the shock of having been to the emergency room late at night. He has been discharged from the hospital on Wednesday. Thank God!
We started to drive from Friday, barely missing the 5"? snow in Everett; and arrived in Bruce, WI at 5 pm on Sunday. Thus only today, I am catching up with the Papal visit. We missed the broadcast of his NY visit.
Here's his farewell address at JFK Airport:
"For all the people of America, and indeed throughout the world, I pray that the future will bring increased fraternity and solidarity, a growth in mutual respect, and a renewed trust and confidence in God, our heavenly Father. With these words, I take my leave, I ask you to remember me in your prayers, and at the same time I assure you of my friendship and affection in the Lord. God bless America."
EWTN has graciously covered the Papal visit very well. Thank you EWTN!!!

Virtues are formed by prayer. Prayer preserves temperance. Prayer suppresses anger. Prayer prevents emotions of pride and envy. Prayer draws into the soul the Holy Ghost and raises man to Heaven. - St. Ephrem +++Oremus. May we stay on course, through daily self-denial, taking up our ✝️, to follow Him - to know, love and serve God - with the guidance of the Declaration of Truth, by Cardinal Burke & other leaders, 31 May'19... May the Holy Spirit help us to understand and guide us. Amen.
