An Island Plea: "Dear God - Please Help!"

Finally, I broke down, took the modem out of the box (ready to be returned), connected the cable, got my return tickets, caught up with my Facebook posts, posted a few urgent Re-Tweets (on Purgatory & on Papacy), responded to a couple of emails from a couple of weeks ago, and have decided to share my prayer intentions here as we pray for the protection of the unborn on the unfortunate anniversary of the passing of Roe vs. Wade in 1973, while we pray for the Christian Unity.

Let us pray in the Name of Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit:

• For the Amendment of our Constitution that "indeed, life begins at conception."..thus to invalidate any law that condones abortion.

• For a truly affordable hospitality (medical, dental, housing, food, basic living cost, etc.) in our society...for everyone to be fair & honest in their business dealings...

• For our purification so we will be truly prepared to go to heaven...

• For those suffering, especially in purgatory, and for the sick & homebound, for God's mercy to alleviate suffering & for healing.
